object being the administration of ROMENERGO activities in tourism.
Aware of the tourism potential of Azuga town, for both winter and
summer periods, ROMENERGO started on April 1993, quite apart of its
core business, an investment project aiming to establish, develop and
exploit a tourism & entertainment base in this area. The first
step was the construction of a sky track on Sorica north versant, with
a length of 3,100 meters, 104 ski lifts and a capacity of 400 peoples
per hour. The following facilities have been added : two ski slopes,
snack-bars at the departure & arrival stations and a renting
center of sporting equipment.ROMENERGO has built in
Azuga a nice hotel, a place where the elegance and the comfort are
shake hands.The food and beverage facilities are the delight of
the guests, while the entertainment club, equipped with professional
bowling, billiard and other mechanical games are the most pleasant
way of spending the free time.
Also, for winter sports enthusiasts, but also in other seasons, "Nu-ma-uita" complex offers
a modern mean of transport, namely gondola cableway.
It was commissioned in 2008, is made based on the latest technology, with a
capacity of 1400 persons / hour and carrying tourists to the top
of Sorica peak at altitude of 1540 meters in only 6 minutes.

DISTRIBUTION STATION

| The
distribution station, organized as separate branch, represents a recent
and valuable acquisition, made by ROMENERGO which enhances ROMENERGO's
abilities in energy field. Placed in an industrial area of Bucharest
town and stretching on about 15,000 square meters surface, the station
has an installed capacity of 446 MVA and attends, at the present, 60
customers with a power demand of 69 MVA. The professionals working in
the distribution station provide not only energy supply and
distribution services, but maintenance and rapid intervention too. |

MHC stations, represents a recent
and valuable acquisition, made by ROMENERGO which enhances ROMENERGO's
abilities in energy field. Romenergo acquired: Suha Mare River Basin group, consisting of
108-kw Gainesti, 241-kw Malini, 548-kw Poiana Marului, 273-kw Suha Mare, and 448-kw Valeni
and Suha Mica River Basin group, 713-kw Slatina and 54-kw Suvarita, all in Suceava County |
